This approximately 110-acre multipurpose facility is the first Broward County regional park to be acquired and developed through the Broward County Commission’s 2000 Safe Parks and Land Preservation Bond Program. The park is now the largest in the long-underserved central Broward County area and is designed to serve seven of the county’s 31 municipalities: along with Lauderhill, Fort Lauderdale, Lauderdale Lakes, Oakland Park, Plantation, Sunrise, and Wilton Manors.
